   i have the same question
   i ran accross a web site that would give you just avbout and sound effect or song but it was an mp3 file that would save to the desktop and you wuld need a program that would put the mp3 on the phone on example of this is motorola phone tools

   I wouldnt log into those ring tone sites…. theres no such thing as “free” in america. if someone does give you a free ring tone site… its a scam… dont even try it ’cause it’ll just give your computer virus. If you have bluetooth… you can transfer songs from other wireless phone with bluetooth. if not, purchase them from your wireless phone company…. its a little pricey but at least it’ll save you from getting scam. good luck.

   ok this is an AWESOME site!. All ring tones are totally free and can be access on your phone via mobile internet or on the internet with computer. It can send tones via text . It’s so awesome I use it all the time and have like over a hundred ringtones on my phone. check it out!
