   I was just reviewing this same subject and my research shows that there really aren’t any free sites. They may say so, but there are hidden fees and most of them make you pay $9.99 a month for these free services. Since you have Verizon, you should try making your own. My brother does.

   ventones.com If you can plug your phone into the computer you can save them right to your phone or text message them to yourself. You upload your own music and pick which section you want as your ringtone and how long the ring is (by holding down shift)

   Myxer.com is the best one.

   You can actually edit the ringtone and get the part of the song you really like. You can also adjust the length that it plays.
