To begin with, it wasn't a good idea to display your real email address on Yahoo Answers.
If you haven't done so already, you need to set up the anti spam facility in Yahoo. This should sendall spam mail into a bulk folder.
Even if you don't empty the folder yourself, Yahoo's system will empty it automatically after a month.
I have a similarly on my .Mac address that I have to 'train' the system to recognise spam, and after a while,it does itautomatically. All I have to do is similar to Yahoo: either wait for the system to empty the folder, or do it myself.

A lot of these are sent through auto responder services that have gone wacky .... unless they have an opt out method in the email itself, there is very little you can do other than mark them as 'spam'. If you don't have a 'bulk' / 'spam' folder set up, you might want to do so. Then at least the majority of these will fall off into that... some will still find their way to your in box anyway.

It's a nusiance and in the US, sending unsolicited email blasts are illegal, but that is why most auto responder groups use out of country services.....

Don't open them ever. Go through your inbox and mark them all as spam. Do that everyday and soon you'll stop seeing them.
